I love this theme, because that's what I've always wanted: to change the world.
Preferably for the better...
But all my life, I have felt so small, and wondered when it would happen, when my life would impact others enough for me to say "I've changed the world!"
In the middle of me complaining about not having changed the world, I discovered that the best way to change the world was to change my world. And the best way to do that was to love.
To love with a fierce and blind love, and then no moment of my life would be wasted.
I have chosen as my inspiration a women who changed the world with her love, someone who I have admired for years: Mother Teresa.
I kept the design very simple, and based it off the habit that the nuns of Mother Teresa's order wear. I used NYC Colors white, L.A Colors royal blue, and a thin coat of O.P.I. "Makes Men Blush" over the white to give it a smooth, almost antique finish. I put a NYC Colors top coat over everything.
Every time I look at my hands I will remember that love is the best way to change the world.
